Society of St. Vincent de Paul
The St. Gerald Conference of St. Vincent de Paul meets once a month on Wednesday evenings.
St. Vincent de Paul is an international parish-based organization that seeks in a spirit of justice and charity to help those in need regardless of race, creed or color. The efforts of our St. Gerald Conference include:
- One time emergency assistance for parishioners or those who live in our parish boundaries to help pay for bills such as rent or utilities. This requires a home visit by two Vincentians.
- Distribution of food Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Please call in advance for an appointment to pick up food.
- Assistance with Thanksgiving and Christmas projects
- Parish clothing drives
ST. GERALD FOOD PANTRY
The food pantry provides emergency food to those in both Wayne and Oakland counties and is supported by your donations. Non-perishable food can be left in the donation bin in the church vestibule. Current needs for specific items are listed in the bulletin. Thank you for your generous support!

Here is a great way to help our St. Gerald St. Vincent de Paul Conference at no cost to you. All you need to do is enroll your card using our Organization Number BM693. We will then receive a quarterly cash donation from Kroger based on purchases made using your Kroger Plus Card.
You must have a digital account with Kroger. Follow these steps:
- Click here to visit the Kroger Rewards Website
- Click “Link Your Shopper’s Card” at the bottom of the page. Here you can sign in to your account if you already have one, or create one if you do not.
- Search for your organization
- Enter the name of organization or put in the NPO number BM693
- Select the correct organization and click “Save”
- If you ever wish to revise your selection, visit Account Details
