Giving
“Each one must do as he has made up his mind,
not reluctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7
At St. Gerald Church we recognize the call to stewardship which includes sharing of our time, talent, and treasure. In so doing, we have the opportunity to share the gifts that we have been given by our Lord. As Catholic Christians, we too follow Christ’s call to share with our community. This approach to stewardship is the first step towards making our Catholic Social Teaching a foundational approach to life.
Online Giving
We are grateful for your support of our church. Online giving allows you to make contributions to our church without writing checks or worrying about cash donations. St. Gerald uses Amplify (formerly Simple Give) for our convenient online giving platform. Amplify accepts recurring or one-time donations by credit, debit, ACH, Google Pay, or Venmo. For recurring automatic donations, you can change the timing or amount at any time.
Envelopes
Traditional envelopes for weekly giving collected during Mass may be mailed to you when you indicate that preference when joining the church. If you need to officially register as a parishioner at St. Gerald’s, please fill out the new parishioner registration form.

Other Ways to Give
Catholic Services Appeal
Members of every parish are asked annually to give to the Catholic Services Appeal (CSA). A target goal is set for each parish. When we exceed the goal, we receive a refund of all additional funds to be used at St. Gerald. In the past your generous donations have funded costly improvements such as new entry doors. If we do not meet the goal, St. Gerald has to make up the difference, making it difficult to budget for general maintenance of our church and church grounds. We ask that you prayerfully consider donating what your family can afford, even if it is not the recommended donation. See the bulletin for CSA updates.
Donations
We accept donations for our Food Pantry and other drives throughout the year. St. Gerald parishioners are generous in their support of these drives and share the love of Christ with our surrounding community in this way frequently.
Time & Talent
One way to give to the church that does not require financial support, is in the generous giving of your time and God-given talents. Volunteer opportunities are listed on our Ministries page. If you are note sure how to apply your specific talents, our Christian Service Coordinator would love to work with you in discerning how to use your talents in service of the church.
You may also use your time praying for the sick listed weekly in the bulletin, and advocating for rights and dignity of the poor, unborn, imprisoned, immigrants, refugees, the vulnerable, and anyone who is not treated as a human made in the image of God.
We are also called to evangelize. St. Gerald has an Evangelization Team. They meet on select Monday evenings throughout the year and would love to have you join with your ideas.
