Opportunities for Fellowship
Fellowship Sundays
Third Sundays September-April are generally scheduled as Fellowship Sundays, aka Donut Sundays. They are put on by our Christian Service team, with various individuals and groups offering their time to host. After all Sunday Masses, fresh donuts and coffee are served in the social hall. Please join us and meet some fellow parishioners.
Women’s Advent Tea
Every Advent at St. Gerald, we have a tradition of hosting a Women’s Advent “Tea.” There is tea of course, but also a full dinner and desserts. You may host an entire table, or come as an individual and make new friends. It is a wonderful evening of prayer, food, and socializing. Please see the bulletin for date and ticket information.
Parish Picnic
An annual parish picnic is put on every June by our Christian Service team. It takes place rain or shine outside on church grounds, with the Knights grilling, parishioner potluck for sides and desserts, outdoor games such as cornhole, raffles, and fun all around. Keep an eye on the church bulletin for specifics.
Groups
SIT AND CHAt
Mondays and Tuesdays following the 9:15 am Mass all are invited to sit and relax in the social hall for light refreshments and fellowship. Lifetime friendships are formed here and pop-ins or new regulars are always welcomed. Please note Tuesdays may be suspended if Scripture Study is scheduled.
PINOCHLE
Do you enjoy playing pinochle or would like to learn? Come join the card group on Thursday afternoons in the parish social hall. Please arrive by 12:15 pm with play beginning promptly at 12:30 pm until 3:00 pm. You do not need to call ahead, just stop in and make some new friends!
QUILTING
The quilting group meets Wednesdays in the parish social hall from 10:30 am-12:00 pm. You may call the office to confirm if the group is meeting when you wish to attend.
GARDENING TEAM
Please contact Gerryanna Luscri at if you would like to use your gardening talents at St. Gerald. There is a big leaf clean up every fall, geranium planting every spring, and help with general maintenance needed.
HEAVENLY SWEETS BAKING TEAM
Email to join St. Gerald’s Baking Team, Heavenly Sweets. If you love to bake at home, you will be contacted when baked goods are needed for events at St. Gerald.
WOMEN'S BIBLE/BOOK STUDY
This women’s group meets Wednesday afternoons in the parish social hall. Call the office to inquire. There may be optional evening sessions.
