Worship Ministry

"Every liturgical celebration, because it is an action of Christ the priest and of His Body which is the Church, is a sacred action surpassing all others; no other action of the Church can equal its efficacy by the same title and to the same degree."

With these words from the Constitution on Sacred Liturgy, we are called to understand the importance of worship and the liturgical celebrations in our parish. There are many opportunities to participate in the activities that enhance our worship.

There are many opportunities to participate in the liturgical life of the parish here at St. Gerald. In addition to the daily and weekend Masses, opportunities for devotional prayer are also available. Every Thursday, we have a Holy Hour for Vocations at 7:45pm. On the first Friday of every month, we have Eucharistic Adoration that begins after the 9:15am Mass and concludes at 5:00pm with Benediction. A Mass for Life is held every First Saturday of the month at 9:15am.
